This 1981 BMW 320i is a well-preserved example, painted in Hennarot with beige vinyl interior. Powered by the 1.8-liter M10B18 inline-four paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. This E21 “Slick-top” which means no sunroof which is a rare and won’t leak like many sunroof cars. The BMW has spent its life in the dry climates of California, Texas, Kansas, and Tennessee before arriving in Florida back in 2023. It presents well with quad headlamps, front kidney grilles, pop-out rear quarter windows, and 13” Turbine wheels wrapped in Kumho Solus KR21 tires. The paint may have been repainted in the original color at some point but is in great shape with minor common imperfections. The interior is trimmed in beige vinyl with matching carpets and retains its original simplicity. Front bucket seats, a rear bench seat, manual roll-up windows, power mirrors, and a rear window defroster are all intact, along with an aftermarket Continental radio. The air conditioning system has been converted to R134a refrigerant blow cold. Mechanically, this 320i benefits from recent service by a BMW dealer, including a thermostat and temperature sensor replacement (2025), a cleaned warmup regulator (2023), and a new fuel pump and spark plugs. The only issue is the factory coolant temp gauge works intermittently. It was confirmed by the BMW dealer that all temps are normal and diagnosed with a faulty gauge. Clean Carfax. With 186K miles, this E21 is very honest and clean having been kept indoors in temperate climates throughout its life.
